Jan 21 at 3pm Metaphor Projects in collaboration with Nancy Manter (Casa de Luna) is pleased to present the dynamic duo HINTERLANDS (formerly known as Wolftones) on accordion & violin playing original music.
Ben Russell and Matt Schreiber seamlessly weave together threads of vernacular music, improvisation, and songcraft to create a musical fabric that is entirely their own. Ranging between fiery and melancholy, Hinterlands leaves audiences feeling that they have journeyed through vibrant landscapes of shapes and sound.
Outside of the duo, Ben and Matt have performed with Kronos Quartet, Max Richter, Björk, Sufjan Stevens, The National, Johann Johannson, and have received awards in Bulgaria and New Orleans.
